What are Loci Numbers
I was reading some stuff on using loci for remembering things. Looks pretty interesting but then I saw a post about Loci numbers, I was wondering if this was dealing with memory or if it was something totally different.
From What I gathered loci was for remembering things like lists.
Anyone have anything on this.

So you just link an image to a number and remember that. Seems easy but also complicated at the same time. Have to make up a bunch of images just to remember a single number.

Im not sure if I know the answer for sure because I haven't heard them called that although I think they are probably the same.
Im assuming you are right, it probably has something to do with the loci memory system. But the numbers you use when using the loci are really peg numbers but you would use the loci or journey system to rember the correct order. That is where I think loci numbers comes in.
Peg numbers is where you peg some physical object to a number like say hat is equal to 1. so instead of one you picture a hat then when you try to recall the number you imagine the hat.
Ill write an article on this as this post is getting long but it basically involves that then tying the numbers together with some system thats why I think loci is involved.
