Thaks for the replies. I found the mega math thing you were talking about. Its actually by Scott Flansburg who is on the math section (Its kevin trudeau though) He has new stuff that is called Math Magic, there is a kids and adult edition. Not sure where to get it but scribd as a version online. I looked through the stuff and it does alot of left to right, even with multiplication.

I have started a little bit of practice and amazingly am quite a bit faster although no where near those guys on tv. They have to have something going on in their head.

I use a system going from left to right, instead of the old normal way everyone was taught in school.

I got if from a mega math course I took like 10 years ago but Im not sure if its around anymore. Well Im sure it is but not sure where you would find it.

Ill try to write something about it in the near future, but its basically taking the numbers from left to right quickly adding them in your head and estimating, to get the remainders in check.

Sounds hokey but after you practice a little bit its starts to become second nature, and is way faster, and more accurate at least for me it was.

We should have some up shortly, we are redoing the site, and have lost a little data. Ive heard good things about mega math, At least It is something like that. Not sure where to find it, if I do Ill post. Ive used flash cards to get quicker and an estimate type system where you don't go right to left. It actually works really well. The flash cards help reinforce it. There is a few decent free math sites in the math area. Check them out.
